Vancouver Port Authority

Vancouver Port Authority
The Port of Vancouver encompasses 233 km of coastline in Burrard Inlet and Roberts Bank. Click on these links to find out more on port operations, safety and navigation, port developments, environmental stewardship and the economic impact of the Port of Vancouver.

The VPA introduces a customized and innovative model for administration of Port Vancouver to meet its unique business and operational needs. The VPA makes it easier for us to react more quickly and efficiently to market needs; for example, the time to process land exchanges, acquisitions and dispositions will be significantly reduced, allowing VPA to respond to the marketplace in a timely fashion.

We have the ability to make most key business decisions here in the region instead of seeking approvals from Ottawa. This does not include the sale of federal port land.

Vision: The Port of Vancouver will be the port of choice on the west coast of North America.
