University Hill |
With an enrolment of 503 students, University Hill Secondary (Home of the Hawks) is the smallest school in the Vancouver School District. Our school traditions and culture are characterized by a strong commitment to academics and a record of active participation in the fine and performing arts. University Hill Secondary ranks among the top academic schools in the province and consistently performs extremely well on provincial exams in relation to other BC schools.
The current building was completed in 1957 and we are currently at maximum capacity enrolment. Our school colours are purple and teal, and there are two logos. One is historical, with UHS on a traditional shield; and the other a stylized hawk symbolizing an affinity with nature and a commitment to action.
