Eric Hamber's 2003-2004 population includes 1,715 students, 85 teachers, as well as 30 support staff. Eric Hamber is a comprehensive secondary school reflecting the diversity of the community it serves.
The school began operations in 1962, and as such is the youngest secondary school in the Vancouver School District.
Through the years, Eric Hamber Secondary has built an enviable reputation for academic excellence, as well as demonstrated excellence in challenging fields such as Fashion Design, Music, Athletics and TV Production.
Our excellence has also been recognized outside of our school. For example, eighty-one of our graduating students received Provincial Scholarships in June 2003, and two of our students were final medalists in Provincial Skills Canada Competitions in 2003.
