General Brock Elementary School enrolls children in Kindergarten to Grade Seven. The students represent many different cultures and languages.
This year the main academic goal is to focus on improving our students' literacy skills. This includes reading and writing. The staff will attend in-services on Professional days to help support this purpose.
A second goal is to improve our students' sense of social responsibility (caring about self, others, and the community). Through special programs and specific teaching the students will learn to: monitor their own behaviour; relate well to others regardless of background or differences; and care about their school and community.
